Epithalon

Epitalon (also written Epithalon or Epithalone, CAS 307297-39-8) is a synthetic tetrapeptide developed by Professor Vladimir Khavinson at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. The compound was designed based on Epithalamin, a natural peptide fraction extracted from bovine pineal gland tissue. Researchers synthesized the four-amino acid sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly to create a stable, reproducible research compound that could be studied without relying on biological extracts.
