KPV

KPV is a synthetic tripeptide made up of lysine, proline, and valine — identical to the C-terminal sequence located at positions 11-13 of α-MSH. Although it consists of only three residues, KPV is researched for its potential to inhibit NF-κB signaling and lessen the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines in both cellular and animal studies.
